Dr. Victor Nalywajko
Dr. Victor Nalywajko (“Dr. Victor”) was born and raised in Burlington. He completed his undergraduate studies at McGill University in Montreal and at the University of Waterloo, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree (Dean’s Honour List) in 2000 from the University of Waterloo. While enrolled at Waterloo’s School of Optometry, Dr. Victor completed a four month rotation in Ocular Health and Therapeutics at the Eye Foundation of Utah in Salt Lake City and a two month rotation at a Binocular Vision Clinic in Calgary, Alberta. After graduating, Dr. Victor became an associate at a busy, multi-doctor optometric clinic in Barrie, Ontario and in 2004, he began working alongside Dr. Donna Bojeczko in downtown Burlington. Between 2006 and 2007, he also took on a part-time position at the University of Waterloo, supervising and teaching optometry students in the primary eye care clinic. He is now the full-time Doctor of Optometry and the owner of the practice. He lives in Oakville with his wife and 2 children.
Dr. Carolyn Kwiat
Dr. Carolyn Kwiat graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2007. She first completed her Bachelor of Science, followed by her Doctor of Optometry. As part of her final year of training, she spent a term at a family practice in Calgary, Alberta and another in Dallas, Texas at the Parkland Memorial Hospital.
She first practiced in the Kawartha Lakes region for several years but has now been calling Burlington her home since 2016.
Dr. Kwiat is an active member of both the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. In 2016, she joined the Ascenta Foundation on a mission to Nicaragua where she helped to provide eyecare and glasses to thousands of patients.
Optometry is not only a career, but a passion, for Dr. Kwiat. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families – providing thorough care from infancy to adulthood to senior living.
When she isn’t in the office, Dr. Kwiat enjoys camping and hiking with her family.
Dr. Donna Bojeczko
Dr. Donna Bojeczko established this practice in downtown Burlington in 1986. After serving the Burlington and surrounding community for over 30 years, she has decided to retire. As a caring and compassionate optometrist who provided primary eye care and low vision services, she will be greatly missed by her many loyal patients. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours!
